My sister lovingly asserts that I need to join the modern world and get a cell phone. That I'm living in the Paleolithic era because I do not have a form of mobile communication. Okay, she didn't exactly say that, BUT IT WAS IMPLIED.
I have concentration issues. Huge concentration issues. I was 24 before I learned to drive. See the problem? There is only one real reason I'd want a cell phone, and that's for emergencies when I'm on the road. But I wouldn't want to have it with me in the car in case it rang and I felt obligated to answer it. Rummage in my purse while I'm driving, fiddle with the buttons to answer it (after looking to see who it is), get involved in conversation. It's all I can do to get to my destination alive, uninjured, as it is.
So you see my dilemma. Add to that the temptation to play games. To play Suduko away from home! When I need to focus on something else! Psh - I can bring a book if I need something to do. Already it takes everything I have not to read at stop lights (occasionally I do).
Sorry Margo. No cell phone for me. I'd wind up injured or dead. It's people like me that inspire those bumper stickers: Hang up and Drive! It really would be very bad.
Until I write again ...

Oooohhh... I inspired a blog! :D
*sigh* Well, OK. Since you put it that way, I can forgive you not having a cell phone. I could mention the Bluetooth earpiece, but it sounds as if you'd wind up in a ditch even with that.
I don't want my sister in a ditch, or injured, or dead... so, just stick to email and the landline.
p.s. I almost did play Sudoku at a red light once. I had my phone out and was pressing the button when I caught myself. Don't tell Brandon. :P
LOL!!! My kids tell me when the light is green if I'm reading. :)
