Another one of my favorite Christmas gifts has been these adorable salt and pepper shakers, given me by another favorite cousin and his wife. They have magnetic snouts (I don't think they're called snouts), so they kiss. But someone in my household - some bored someone - has taken to posing the kissing cows when I'm not looking.
You'll see here that they are begging for a cup of java, because, contrary to popular opinion, cows are not big fans of milk. And buttermilk has to come from someplace. It's the older, grizzled cows, standing out in the field, sipping their cuppa joe, gossiping and swatting flies.
I wasn't aware that cows liked chili, seeing as they're part of the dish, and maybe they don't, but they sure want some off those Fritos I bought to serve with the chili. Silly cows. Fritos and coffee aren't good together.
I'll catch the culprit who's been posing my cows. We'll have a good laugh. Then I'll send him to bed with no java and Fritos. That'll teach him.
Until I write again ...

Are you sure it's someone else? Maybe the cows just want Fritos and coffee. I do.
You've a stronger stomach than I - that's quite a combination this early. Sure you're not pregnant? I used to eat spicy big bite sausage dogs with salsa and nacho cheese, from 7-11, washed down with orange juice, when I was pregnant with Mae. Sunday mornings before church.
Maybe it is just the cows. I'll be homme alone today and we'll see. Though I've been finding Chris' little Star Wars dolls (dolls! Nyah!) posed in the dining room. And it's not the dogs.
Ok, that is hysterical!! Can't wait to see where they show up next.
I'll keep you posted, provided they keep it up. It really wasn't me posing the cows. :(
They really ought to check the fridge. That's where all the good stuff hides, if you ask me.
LOL. Someone has a funny sense of humor.
How cute! Austin would love these, seeing as how he's obsessed with cows!
BB's mom, I don't think they'd like the fridge. That's where the milk, cheese and ground hamburger are.
Jan, thanks for visiting! I'm enjoying your blog!
Jeni, you should TOTALLY get Austin a pair of cows for his hope chest. He'll love looking at them when he's an adult. :)
No, I'm not pregnant. I didn't say I'd like them at the same time... :P
You also might want to check into how they made it on top of the cookie tin. Good climbers, those cows.... or was it a gymnastic effort utilizing the toaster?
Ooo! The toaster! I noticed a spatula hanging out of the pot, dangling. Maybe they catapulted.
