It's Climbing Day!
Another day, another wall. Another ceiling to touch. And Maybelline went with again this morning! She made it farther up the wall this time, seemed to be a little braver, more confident. Well, this picture was taken just before we got out of the car to go into the gym. Here she is about to go up.
And one on the wall.
After that I was belaying her, not taking pictures. But she did a fantastic job, going higher every time, making me so proud!
Maybe next time we'll take Bessie (Fred's not allowed - only girls) and see if she's a climber. I'm thinking not, as you can see from this photo that Fred tends to do the climbing. Silly cow.
Until I write again ...

oh you two are so brave, maybe in my next life I will be so brazen as to attempt to climb a wall!
That one just before she goes up is priceless, Flea. :-)
LOL! Those cows really get around. How did Fred manage to get himself all the ay up there I'd like to know and is Bessie belaying for him?
That's wonderful! What a great and interesting way to spend time with your daughter.
I've been about to climb the walls myself, but not in the same way you are talking about....
I have always wanted to climb one of those walls, but I've never tried it. How fun!
Hey, I forgot to look back at your comments on the last post to see your answer about the greyhound.
The next time you're there, ask her if she had a greyhound that was given to her. I'm about 98% positive that she's the same person to whom we gave our greyhound, Nala. I remember her mastiff - he was a HOSS!
I wonder where Nala is?
Mother daughter bonding at its best! What a great stress reliever after such a tough week of studying.
Did Fred get a boo boo? It looks like he's after some aloe. I could be wrong though.
That looks like fun! I don't have a head for heights but I've always thought it looks neat.
Fred is something else!
I didn't know you got your daughter into climbing! How fun that it's something you can do together, and enjoy!
Go, go, go! :D
Poor Fred. Looks like he burned his snout. Doing some hot'n heavy smooching? ;)
That looks like SO much fun!
I can't figure out if Fred is kissing the aloe, eating the aloe or if his snout is burned! And the climbing was GREAT!! This was week three for me and I am in LOVE. Went half way up wall three. Woohoo! And Maybelline likes it. Yay.
Say, that's some good climbing! I've often thought it looks like fun, but I'm not sure how I'd manage the diaper bag at the same time.
