Okay people. Just so you know that I know that you know, and because I'm hideously ADD about having a million thoughts and forgetting all but two of them, I'm laying out some stuff today so I don't forget.
First, I have a beautiful Blogiversary button that Jan over at Bold & Free gave me for my one year blogging anniversary, and I intend to get it up before the week is out.
Second, I've been tagged by Karen at the Rocking Pony to do a meme about my kids. Again, before the week is out.
Third, my mom has done a Fred & Bessie cartoon for me. I don't know yet how I'll use it (definitely on a t-shirt), but it will be used. It would be cute in the header, and I'd like to see it in a book. Fred & Bessie are taking on a life of their own.
Fourth, speaking of the cows, our road trip is tomorrow, so I'll have photos later in the week. Can't wait to see the baby pygmy goats where we're going!
Fifth, speaking of photos, I gave blood this morning in church, of all places! It turns out that the Red Cross visits four times a year, so I can give every season! YAY!!! And I took copious photos with the Hunny's camera phone. Now if I can just talk him into sending them to me ...
Sixth, Jan is having a fun scavenger hunt on her blog in which I'm participating. It starts soon! And I've sent her two - count 'em TWO! - fun prizes to give away! More details to come. Maybe by the end of the week?
Seventh, speaking of fun prizes, in mid-March I will be interviewing a children's book author and giving away a copy of her new book for her blog tour. It's beautifully illustrated, narrated by Sheila Walsh (the book comes with the CD), and the foreword is by none other than The Duchess of York, Fergie.
I think that's it. Hmmm. Yeah, that's it. Oh, and Happy President's Day everyone!
Until I write again ...
Your a busy girl!! Can't wait to see what you have in store for us!!
Happy Presidents Day to you!
It's like a soap opera here. So many story lines to follow. I look forward to the pictures and the giveaways.
Just think how proud you'll be the first time someone asks Fred and Bessie for their autographs.
Wow, I can't believe that you've been blogging for a year - and look how popular you are! I want to be a blogger just like you when I grow up! :)
Next time you see Kathie, tell her that I said hi, will ya? I'm not sure she'd remember my name, but her greyhound was almost definitely the one we gave her although, she had a different mastiff when we met her. Poor girl, she's lost a lot of dogs over the last few years! :(
Have fun on your road trip tomorrow. Can't wait to see the pictures!
That's a lot of news, and super cool about the book!
you are sooooo busy! I should have looked before I tagged you too! when you get the chance?........
I am very interested in the march book thing--are you going to give more details?
Thanks Susie! I think I've done that meme a couple of times. Can I take a rain check? :)
