A Friend Like You

My friend Jan, over at Bold & Free, has awarded me the Friend in You badge. Thank you, Jan! I'm adding it to my wall o'awards! Not without passing it on first!

BUT! Before I do, I'm taking this moment to remind you all that Jan is running a contest on her site, one in which I've participated, one which offers chocolate and Starbucks gift cards, one which needs more contestants! It's a scavenger hunt! Go, people! Go enter! At least the part about my blog! The answers to my questions can be found on the left of my blog, in the About Me section, and on the list o'bovines. See how easy that is? Hurry! The contest ends this weekend!

Now, on to the award ceremony! Ooo! And this is so difficult. You are ALL my friends! And I know I'll forget people, because I always do, so yell at me if I forget you? And these are in no particular order, okay?

Karen, over at the Rocking Pony, is one of the first blogs I began reading regularly. And she gave her kid a lizard for Easter, which totally rocks.

Baby Burgh's Mom is owned by the cutest toddler east of the Mississippi River. Pittsburgh's east of the Mississippi, right? Geography's not my strong point.

Oo! Sports Mama keeps me laughing, when she's not making me tear up. Her exploits with Coach and the boys are loaded with testosterone.

Then there's Brown Eyed Girl at the Color of Home. What does one say about her? Never, ever boring! Head there for a belly laugh or a scary tale.

Hello Dlyn in New York! I KNOW she's east of the Mississippi. And I love her photography, but even more I love her interviews with Riley.

Melissa, at Hope for the Hopeless, is another whose blog I've been reading since I discovered blogs. Check out her Mongolian tree.

Definitely west of the Mississippi is Asthma Girl, whose cape is fluttering. I just got that - how sad for me.

Alright - the whole Mississippi thing? I grew up ON the river, so everywhere in the United States was divided, for me, by the River.

A new friend, who never fails to move me, and who lives practically in my back yard! is Mayberry Magpie. Go bug her about her running, will ya?

Tanya I stumbled on by accident, before I was in the habit of reading other people's blogs. I was trying to figure out what all of this was about, looking for the weird and funny out there. Tanya is talented, even if she was raised by wolves.

Oo! Oo! I almost forgot Zobabe, at Next Day's News! She's always in English!

I have to stop now. My children have to get to school. Check out the scavenger hunt, people!

Until I write again ...

Flea

Thank you so much Flea. As I noted on my blog, I'm the one getting all the benefit out of reading you and your journey with Fred and Bessie!
