Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I was bored today, the first day of Spring Break. Yes, bored. For some reason, house work did NOT reach out its long, slithery tentacles and drag me in. I eluded its grasp, oddly enough. And was bored. Wanna see what I did instead of house work? Do ya? Huh? I sure didn't drive any snakes out of Ireland, if that's what you were thinking. Didn't pick any shamrocks. Here's what I did:

WOOHOO!!!

Until I write again ...

24 and you said WHAT?:

Very cute...and productive. While I was staying out of the slithery grasps of house cleaning, I did...nothing! Well, I sat on my round rump, I guess that is something?!

1. This takes TIME. LOTS of TIME. I am thinking I may have to refuse to believe you have ADD.

2. Why do you have Fisher Price Barnyard animals?

3. I didn't know Fred and Bessie could dance...

Girl.... that is a serious investment of time.

Thank goodness Fred and Bessie can dance!

I would like to know why you still have the barnyard toy? Really? I was just wondering. Kuddos to those very talented animals. I guess since you're on spring break and all, the housework could go on break too. The time you spent was well worth it. Very adorable.

I am so proud that I know such an amazing blogger! Holy Cow-- I am very impressed... and inspired. Uh, could you take my kids for a few days? I want to be creative too.
I'm going out to You Tube to rate you-- is there a Cow choreography award to be had somewhere?

First, this didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would. I set up the tripod and the digital camera and just moved and clicked.

Second, it took a lot longer than it could have, since I had no idea what I was doing. The next one won't take so long, I hope.

Third, Marguerite, I am the very essence of ADD - able to focus on one thing to the exclusion of all else. Nothing else exists. It's the housework which is constantly distracted. :)

Fourth, thank you all! This was a TON of fun! I can't wait to do the next one!

Fifth, I actually borrowed the Fisher Price barn and critters from the three year old niece. Once my kids got past pushing all of the things which moo and baa, it managed to sit quietly in the corner for the last month till I was ready to use it. :D

All in all? The photography took about 45 minutes. Figuring out how to drop them all into Windows Movie Maker took about that long. Making four different versions in order to get the timing right took a couple of hours. Next time it will take about 10 minutes. The beauty of digital - everything's in order already and can be dropped in all at once. Audio - finding the right song took about 20 minutes, then another half hour to figure out how to make it all work together. Then talking to the cousin and letting her laugh at me? Another hour altogether.
