Now Quit Your Whining Already!

Several of you are grousing about my weather. Rather, you seem put out that I'm mentioning our spring weather while you are still buried in snow or battling slush. To you I say, "Move somewhere warmer!" Also for you jealous creatures out there, I am posting pictures we took after the December ice storm. For your viewing pleasure:

This was the neighbor's tree.

A different neighbor's tree. I love the look of this one.

Same neighbor, different tree.

There. Now you can all pretend that I am covered in ice, shivering, snuggled warm under a pile of blankets, wishing and waiting for spring, just like you. Don't you feel better now? I do.

Until I write again ...

Hi Flea...was reading some of your older posts today and stumbled accross a Sudoku post- HAD to respond!! I responded but just thought you may not see it cause its a old post....so I just copied and pasted it to here!...so the below is what I wrote to ya today!!!

Hi there Flea...So, I will confess my deep dark secret as well. My name is Tara and I am a Sudoku Addict..lol. Really, I am. No, seriously- I am. I laughed when I read your post because I can relate ( pun fully intended!) I keep Sudoku puzzles in my handbag, by the night table and my bathroom visits have doubled and now last twice as long because I, too, get completely engrossed in those crazy things! Chris ( my Chris!) laughs at me constantly, tells me I am addicted- but will not try one himself- I personally think he is afraid that he will enjoy them. He is missing out!

I think it is such a "healthy addiction"- if there is such a thing!!! Keep on Sukoing its a great mind exercise. I am stuck on easy/medium- I have been since I started....shhh don’t tell anyone!! Haha

Been ages since we last talked....So my only update is Chris and I ( after 7 years of living in sin:-) are getting married in 5 weeks.....excited, nervous the whole package!!!

What have you been up to? lol...I guess I kinda know the answer to that- I read your blog!!

Take care, love to the kiddies and Chris (your Chris!)!

Hey, that was in December so it doesn't count! ;)

It's been pretty nice here and the snow is all melted again. I so hope we're done with that now! Either that or I'm going to have to stick my head in the oven!

Okay, Mom. I'll be quiet now.

I love ice storm. Well not driving in them, or the power outages they cause or walking uphill with a bucket of water to the stable. But just being in the house looking out is when I love them. God can sure take nasty things and make them beautiful.

Until our temp makes it way up to the average, I'm going to keep on whining. I'm not asking for shorts and tank tops, just the freakin' average temp!

I'm willing to settle for 'average' because it's hella better than the crap that is outside at the moment. It's almost April. I should not still be putting the kid in a winter coat! Arrgh!

I'm only whining because we usually hit 70 on a constant basis by this time of year. Instead? It's about 50 outside and rainy and cloudy (not that I'm knockin' the rain...we still need it). So yes, your ice pictures make me feel a little better. ;)
