Camera Woes, Part Deux

Thank y'all for your kind words about my Rebel. Like Tanya suggested, I'm looking into local camera shops for repair. Hopefully they've seen this type of problem and can easily fix it while I wait.

Until then, I've decided to kill two birds with one stone. I hate the thought of not being able to post photos, but I remembered that I am in the process of scanning all my old photos and now have an abundance of material to show. Of course, I don't want to bore you all to death with baby pictures, so I made an executive decision. I'm going back through the shots I have of my evil sister. See what a blessing this is, the breaking of my camera? I now have a venue for revenge!

I know, I know. Displaying photos from her teen years isn't exactly an Annoy-a-tron, but that's okay. I can live with that. I think I have shots of her in a bathing suit somewhere. And one of her I KNOW I just saw where she's sticking her big toe up her nose. Oh, the possibilities! Hmmm. Yes. I'm going to do it.

Let me know if you can think of a better way to annoy my sister. She has no children, so that payback is out. I doubt I can convince her husband to engage in a plot. He's strangely loyal that way. I think it has something to do with having to live in the same house with her for the rest of his life. But you, dear friends, have no idea who she is. You can help me. Mwahahahaha!

Until I write again ...

Flea,
I read your post last night but was too exhausted to type. (my arms hurt)
I'm so sorry about your camera. I cannot imagine how tough that would be to lose the Nikon. And it sounds like you don't have a back up camera. Dang it!
I'm glad you're looking at local shops to see if there's a cheaper repair and I hope that works out. Keeping my hopes up for you!
PS ~ sorry for using that picture of you in my post last Friday. I should have asked first!

The instructor at our digital photography class said his wife uses a NIKON cool pix and often shoots pictures that are better than he shoots with his fancy dancy NIKON 300 with thousands of dollars worth of lenses. Find a good monopod with a mount on top and use it as a walking stick. Get out and have fun. MUD

You rock with your way of looking at the bright side!! Anyone that sends an Annoy-a-tron needs to have embarrassing photos displayed for the world to see :-)

She forgets that I also have embarrassing photos of her...

Sure, they're in storage at the moment, but revenge is best served cold and all that.

Flea, believe me when I tel you that I really did go with the "less evil" options. :P

sisters and brothers are ruthless. My brothers snapped a phot of me in my underwear, granny panties even, on a family vacation. The good news is that photo is NOT in their possession and will never be posted on the internet by anybody. whew, and I am feeling relieved. Whatever you do remember that evil sisters usually retaliate,...somehow.

OK kiddos - time to call a truce. You forget, I have pix of both of you. Be afraid - that's all I'll say. Moms rule!

I'd still be tempted to put up some incriminating pics of her. ;)

Yeah, an annoy-a-tron calls for drastic measures in my book.
