Yes! That's Baby Flea! And an unnamed cat. When I first hung it in our living room on our macaroni and cheese colored wall (I loved that wall), the Hunny was a little startled by it. All the orange freaked him out. It was painted in the late '60's already. But I find it beautiful. Just thought I would share.
Have a great Sunday, everyone!
Until I write again ...

And that, good people, is why I love this woman's work so much. That is precious!
That is so sweet!
Gorgeous painting. Your mom is so talented. I know you must treasure her work.

I love it Flea - but then orange is one of my favorite colors! It is very precious.
Marvelous and precious.
Hmmm... orange is my favorite color! And, I think it's a sweet painting. I'm sure you'd never get rid of it, but if you do, I'd happily add it to my cat collection.
Have a great day! What's left of it, lol.
What a wonderful picture and such precious memories to go with it!
Love that painting!
But what I'm really wondering.... what color exactly is "macaroni and cheese"? 'Cuz that's what I want! :)
Cool! I haven't seen that one before.
I love it--and the color is part of what makes it so sweet.
Wow!
What do the offspring think of the painting? Do you or any of them have the talent passed on from Gram?
Happy Monday!
I love the tenderness of it.
I tagged you for a meme when you have time. :)
it's gorgeous...and so much more meaningful because it's not just any baby...it was her baby...you. I'm all teary...it's so sweet. Plus the kitty looks like a kitty I used to have.
I. LOVE. This.
