And Sunday afternoon:
The boys have been busy. This side of the house is much larger, includes a door and an electrical box, and the A/C unit to work around. I've been a bad girl when it comes to pictures, what with the rain and sleeping and all.
Sleep. Hmm. See this window?
That's my bedroom. Saturday I slept till three so I'd be awake at work that night. I was afraid the Hunny's banging would keep me up, but the rain took care of that. He wound up taking the boys to a couple of movies instead of working. About the time I left for work - six-ish - he and Oatmeal Head started working on the house. When I came in Sunday morning at 7:30, he said they'd worked till 10 at night. I crawled into bed and fell asleep. With ear plugs in.
Do you KNOW that ear plugs do not keep out hammering on the wall behind your head? They don't. Really. When I fell asleep, two sheets of the cement board were up. When I woke up, nearly all of it was up. They even ran out of the cement board and were trying to figure out how to piece it together for that last little bit.
So here it is today, the menfolk having worked into the night. Still a ways to go.
The Hunny wants to spirit me away to Sherwin Williams to find paint. Woohoo. I wonder how eggplant will look with the brick?
Thanks for all your input on the colors and the work! It sure has boosted morale, having y'all so involved. :)
Until I write again ...
