Little Guy is just getting around to showing the Hunny his art portfolio from school this year (I love that the teacher saved everyone's work and had them create a large portfolio as a final project). While unfolding a sheet of paper he's explaining the 4 types of artwork represented therein: abstract, pointillism, realistic and Cubanism. Huh. Cubanism. So I Google it. Of course.
Of course Google asks if I meant cubism. No, I typed this on purpose, thank you. Not surprisingly, there's quite a bit out there about Cuba, and nothing really about art.
Y'all have a good one!
Until I write again ...

We've had a couple of teachers through the years with our boys who have done art projects along those same lines. One year, the students actually put on an art exhibition for the parents. Who then got to "bid" on their student's artwork. That was fun.
Cubanism? Interesting. I am glad that your children are learning about art instead of just tracing their hands and making hand turkeys!
Ah yes, cubanism, my favorite communist art form!!
Cubanism...maybe he learned how to roll cigars.
I LOVE Cubism and Pointillism! I have an original piece of Pointillism art in my master bedroom, purchased at a charity auction . Show us his examples!
