Helloooooo Mosquito! Do y'all remember that commercial? Here, for your viewing pleasure:
It's how I answer the phone when I know who's calling. :)
Thanks to y'all for the well wishes. I think I know how I messed up the tummy. Way too much caffeine (which I've been off of for nearly a year) and greasy fast food on surgery day. Back to life as normal now.
Life as normal won't be soon for Little Guy. He's been drooling all day. And like someone said in the comments (sorry - I've been sleeping all day - was it Julie?), it will get worse in a few days. The scabs fall off, or something like that. The boy knows to expect it. Never one to milk something for all it's worth (NOT!), he's been using hand signals exclusively. I think today I might buy him a bell to ring when he needs one of us. As it is, Oatmeal Head comes running when Little Guy pounds on whatever surface is at hand. Stinker.
Must go to bed. Tummy still rumbly.
Until I write again ...
I'm sorry for him...that sucks...but a bell might hurt you more. He-he...
You'll have to keep me updated. Looks like K2 is about to get hers yanked as well!
I hope your tummy feels better soon!
In 1967 I went to Panama for Jungle School. I came home with Dengue Fever and was sick as a dog for two weeks. I came home from Vietnam in 1969 and within two weeks of being discharged from the Army came down with Malaria. If there is a sick mosquito out there they look me up. I hate them. Hope everything comes out OK. I never eat at Taco Hell anymore. Bad things happened to a class I taught after several of them went to Taco Hell for a late night snack. MUD
Poor Little Guy! Of course I don't know if a bell would be a good idea . . . I know it will drive you nuts in just a little bit!
Hope your cast iron stomach is back to normal soon!
Poor guy. This all scares the crap out of me just a little bit.
Stay away from the bell.
If you give him a bell, he will soon forget that his throat hurts because of the pain in his head where you beat him with the bell because he has rung it so much.
Hope all get to feeling better soon.
Oh Sweetie! I'm sorry about your tummy troubles. Little Guy will be back to normal before you know it! I have a bell but eveyone just ignores it unless I ring it obnoxiously. I usually just beat on the wall.
I hope you're both feeling better right away!
Oh Yeah. Fried fast food and caffeine sends me into the worst stomach problems, which is why I no longer do fast foods or caffeine. I miss them sometimes too. Just don't miss the tummy erupting like a volcano.
Glad to hear he's in a good, drooling recovery mode. Reminds me of an old SNL show with Bill Murray about the drool bucket. It was disgustingly funny. "May I clean your drool bucket sire?" Drool was being slung all over the place, worse than having a St. Bernard. Eww.
everyday will get better and better~ I so can relate to too much caffien...
Sorry about your tummy; get better soon. I strongly urge you *not* to give the LG a bell; you will be unhappy with him, and yourself, before he's comfortable enough to speak.
Somehow, I had escaped the Mosquito commercial. Too funny!
Wishing smooth sailing from here on out. Ouchie.
Oh no! I'm glad you are feeling better. Tummy issues really suck!!
When my nephew had back surgery a few years ago his mother got some walkie talkies for when he needed something, but I supposed that is no good for him. Yeah, a bell would work a lot better. I hope your belly is feeling better and your little fella mends quickly.
I hope EVERYBODY in your house is feeling better ASAP!
Ugh. I hope you are better. And, I would say not to get the bell. You'll be tempted to shove it where the sun don't shine...
Oh no Flea.... so sorry to hear you are sick. Sending you tons of well wishes and many hugs!
Aw - hope you both are on the mend really quickly!
scabs? sorry, but ew! LOL!
