Here's the front yard:
Pretty hosta! Pretty ... umm ... something! I think I planted hollyhock seeds and maybe a morning glory. What was I thinking?
Then there's the new garden which the kids made for me. The glads are coming up! And I got the yellow iris in. Oh, BTW? We paid Maybelline to put that bed in. Paid her quite well. So it was NOT out of the kindness of her heart that she worked her little tushie off. Though her tushie is getting smaller. ANYWAY ...
Here are some of the moss rose I planted in that bed, as well as in the bed in front of the house. I just love that they open up in the sun. So cheery.
Finally, the wisteria tree that was my Mother's Day gift is blooming again! And trying to take over the WORLD! Isn't it beautiful? I love the smell.

To the back! Back!! Let's see what's back here ...
The raised beds! They contain the carrots and strawberries and some kind of vine we're not sure whether or not we planted. Just beyond that are the beans ,which rival the wisteria for taking over the world. No beans yet.
And since I highlighted the cactus in a previous post, I had to show you its progress! My how it's grown. Still no idea how it got there.
Check out what's ripening just beyond the beans:
And what's growing in the neighboring bed:
I'd completely forgotten planting butternut, but I'm excited about them!
Let's see ... is there anything else? Yes! Yes there is! Look!
The Hunny has a thing for fresh herbs, so he has been planting them for the last year, and this weekend he put the containers up on blocks for me. Love it! There's rosemary and thyme and basil and oregano and sage and chives and marjoram. And chocolate mint! Mmmmm.
Well that's all folks! Post your pictures!
Until I write again ...

I've never heard of chocolate mint herb before. I want some!
awesome! Fresh herbs are wonderful, fragrant, and surprisingly easy to grow! Good job!
What a nice garden you have going! Those tomatoes looked yummy! My tomato plants are pretty much done - getting a bit crispy in the Texas heat!
Chocolate mint sounds divine.
Has the forsythia arrived yet?
I'm jEaLoUs. Jealous. jealous. Jealous. And I am not participating in this... although, I should show pictures of my backyard to shame Benny. But Benny has NO SHAME. It's a good thing I love him because I'd kill him if I didn't.
What a great garden!
I should post about what the rabbits are doing to my yard. Ugh.
I love your raised beds Flea - we had them for quite a few years and you can grow an incredible amount of stuff in a small space. And those little yellow pear tomatoes and the best things ever - SO yummy. I love seeing your photos - thanks for playing along!
Your raised beds are so nice. We did that when we lived in Virginia. They never did as well as yours though.
How lovely! I like seeing what other folks are growing! Especially the herbs... Nicely done, Flea!
I adore your little tomatoes! And your rose, beautiful.
you seem to be missing parsley and sage. ;)
