Y'all, I've made a new friend. Her name is Karen (great, another Karen!) and she blogs under Surrounded by Sea Monkeys. I popped over to her blog to say hi, started reading and found this great meme! Tanya, you're the first person I'm tagging, since you love these things so much. And I had SOOOO much fun responding to the question! I think you will too. Let's play, shall we? This one is interactive!
Here are the rules. Follow them well. Or as well as I did. Heh.
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.
I guess it doesn't really leave any room for tagging, huh? But if you post the rules and play, I'll come make up a memory on your blog, too! And I'll attempt to be hideously creative with each of you.
Until I write again ...
Flea

Road Trip! Down Memory Lane AND for real. :D
The 24 hour drive back from Tulsa, via Chicago, to D.C. I still have that picture we took when we were done. Mwahahahaha! Maybe one day if I start a blog, I'll post it. >:)
No memes my friend... but do stop by and pick up your swag!
The first thing that stands out is you had posted about Fred and Bessie and I remember thinking to myself, "she has a sense of humor - I like her already."
There was this one time, at band camp....(sorry, it just came to me)
Um, I haven't physically met you yet, but I have been to Tulsa recently.
Remember when we named that rooster? He flies pretty well. I bet he could escape the farm and not be part of a pie. :-) (I don't want to be a pie. I don't like gravy.)
I remember when you emailed me and said Fred and Bessie could come and play with me in Connecticut. I was so happy! I miss them, too.
Do you remember when we were in culinary school? That was such a blast. It was all fun and games until we got kicked out for your "essence of rat apple pie." It all worked out though. Now your some big shot in living in Tulsa and I'm following some guy around that thinks he's a rocket scientist.
I remember going through labor with you...I mean, with Bessie! She did so well! I was very proud of her, and of you since your words are what gave her strength.
Oh, I like this one - a lot! My favorite memory of you is when I was pregnant and would post my baby updates and you would always comment on the vegetable comparsions. They always made me laugh!
So Grateful To Be Mormon had this on her blog and I thought it was a great idea. How fun to see how people know you! Karen is a funny, funny gal with the "rat apple pie" comment.
I can't remember how I found you. I DO remember thinking you may be a little nuts for the cow posts, and next thing I know, I'm logging on first thing in the morning just to see what they were doing! :-) Thanks for the ride.
Man this sounds hard. Hmmmm...I'm going to have to think of something.
I remember the first time I saw Your COWS, was that for real? Then I saw you actually called your son, Oatmeal Head, HOOKED like fish, I do declare.
Left you a little sumthin at my house.
I remember your paint color choice dilemma because it wasn't very long ago. This is a memory game. Been there, done that, can't remember.
I remember when I first met you in the Daniel study at FBC. I thought your name was funny (like, ha-ha funny, not weird funny!) and then you got your hair cut (which I read about on your then brand-new blog!) so I brought you a new jewel-y hair clip!!
I remember staying at your house during one of the hurricanes in 2004. The weather outside was frightful, but inside, it was so delightful! [Christmas in July, you see.] I miss spending quality time with you!
I'm not a very good memer (is that a word?), but one of my very favorite things about you is that when you comment, you always use new adjectives to describe you, your comment, or your mood. It's so wonderfully creative and I always think "I wonder who Flea is today?"
Mayberry Magpie
I remember that you didn't get upset with me about a certain unfortunate incident that happened at my house to certain visitors because I don't always think about stuff as much as I should.
Hmmmm. I remember a great sense of relief when you said that you'd give the tea towels a home. Does that count?
