Ceremony Time

It has just occurred to me that there is an award to be given out to several people. Well, several people have been very gracious of late and given me awards. Life's been a little nuts and I haven't been kind enough to properly respond. But I plan to rectify that now. I think. I've lost track. I mean, it's not like I have beaucoup awards out there waiting to be acknowledged, but sometimes I just forget who I am for awhile. Like every week after work. So I have to go FIND these things - awards for which I'm extremely grateful. Really!

But first, I have to give out my own award. This one goes to all of the lovely people who have been so gracious as to host my run away babies, Fred and
Bessie.

First, to Dlyn, who took my darling cows in when they so rudely ran away from home (to read parts of the saga, head here and here and here). She was a home away from home, making them comfortable. Thank you, Dlyn!

Next was Mental P. The bovines traveled from New York to Connecticut. Mental P introduced them to Cocktail Corner. They really seemed to enjoy visitin
g with her. Heh.

From Connecticut they traveled across the ocean to visit with J the Grockle, at In the Gutter. I don't think they've ever had as much fun as they did in England. One day I'll make it over and visit all the places my ceramic cows have been. How sad is that?

Leaving J, they made it all the way to Snooty's place. Texas is a great place for little cows! Who knew? Snooty was the queen of hospitality, showing them a fine time. Thank you!

So thank you all for taking such good care of my babies. They've been in good
, capable hands! Always does a mama's heart good.

Someone new to me, and one of F&B's future stops, is Daryl! Check her out - her photography of NYC is out of this world! Recently she gave me a very cool little award that she made herself:

Now, I know that this one has made the rounds pretty quickly because someone was kind enough to send it my way awhile back. There are some fun people I missed, though, when I handed it out. Let me make up for that now, m'kay?

Tranny Head is laugh out loud fun to read. Y'all know it's true. Don't be drinking anything when you read her blog, people.

This Sea Monkey girl fascinates me. Wait, she's surrounded by sea monkeys. But
she's fun to read!

Of COURSE I have to give an award to Sports Mama! She's ALWAYS fun to read! Really! Go and see!

****************************************************************

Now, I had to go backwards quite a ways in Coffee Bean's posts to find this one, but I just knew I'd been awarded something. Isn't it pretty?

She shared the love with me! And now I'd like to share the love with:

Colleen, at Wine Please, who is sharing the love of ten years with her husband!

Poltzie! Who shares the love with Chicken, her baby boy who's just four months old and the love of her life.

Zobabe, who loves her little kitties. They are the cutest things EVER.

*****************************************************************

Yet another award (y'all I'm playing catch up for a couple of months here - my
apologies to those who handed these out) given me by Karen Deborah at Fresh Fixins:

Aren't those pretty flowers? I'm tempted to keep them all to myself, but there are several people I just want to give flowers to today.

Nipper. She deserves a real bouquet of flowers but will have to settle for these. :)

Tina, who still needs to let me know when we can do coffee. Or in my case, decaf. Woo!

Lori, who is just plain cool.

Last (I think - I hope - let me know if I'm wrong?) is an award from Laura-Peach. I just love her. Check it out:

Who is the sun on my rainy day? Why Asthma Girl, of course! Burgh and AFF are pretty sunny, too. I should probably send them sunglasses instead of giving them this award, huh?

Y'all, I'm pooped! I know I've missed people who I really enjoy. I'm sorry. I'll see you later, gator!

Until I write again ...

Flea

Thank you for the award! I'm sharing the love of lunch with my persistent babies as I type. Criminy.

I, too, miss the cows. Are they coming home soon?

Thank you for the award! I hope I can live up to being "Fun To Read."

Hey!!! How is it that I've made it to blog friend status? How exciting, I thought you'd actually have to blog to get that award. :D Thanks girl. I'll have to tell you about Stanley. Fred and Bessie remind me of him. Do you work Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun night? Would you like to get breakfast before church one morning? That's worked well when I've worked Sat overnights.

Wow. I'm sunny? You funny lady. Thank you very much. You totally deserve all the bling. And, you know it makes my heart go pitter patter when I get linked right next to BBM.

I have no idea why you'd give that crappy "Gutter" girl anything since she apparently comes and reads your posts and then forgets to comment AND leaves her award behind. She must be really losing it this last week of summer holidays.

Thank you-- I love it!!

I am SUCH a jerk for not having said thank you for this! I saw it and forgot to go back and comment. So, THANK YOU!

I could use a pair of sunglasses that don't have toddler-sized fingerprints all over them. Those are hard to come by in these parts, though.
