Happy Monday, Everyone!

Hey!!! Yes, it's Monday morning. Yes, I just got off of work. Yes, I'm not in bed, sleeping. Ask me why. Go ahead, ask. Hello? Is this thing on?

I don't KNOW why! And I'm drinking real coffee!

Let's play a little game, shall we? It's called, "Let's See How Long the Good Flea Can Stay Awake Before Passing Out Face First on the Floor". I can't remember the last time I played that game, but I think it was a fun one. I don't think I was 40, though. We'll see how much that changes the game and its outcome.

Seriously? I was doing a patient's vitals this morning and she fell into my arms. Low blood pressure. From the heat yesterday. Did I tell you it was 104? It really was. And she'd been out in it. She's fine. Just wasn't prepared for Oklahoma's heat, being from a state far north of here and all.

So now my adrenaline's pumping. I came home and watered the front garden, because, you know, my pretty flowers are more important than those gross tomatoes in the backyard. Ew. And I know that there is a large bowl worth of tomatoes to pick out there. There is nearly every morning now. I'm going to attempt to scald, peel, seed and puree all those lovely Romas today. Wanna see the ones I brought in over the weekend (that I haven't already given away)?

I'm sorry. Were you talking to me? Am I rambling again? Time to pick tomatoes and walk it off.

Until I write again ...

Yummy tomatoes! I am so upset with myself for not buying tomato plants earlier this year. I almost did, I contemplated, but never followed through. Next year we will definitely have tomato plants. Even if I have to plant them in the front yard to keep the dog out of them LOL Now, GO TO BED! Falling flat on your face would not be good.

First I was chuckling, then I was concerned about the patient. If you work in a unit that handles eating disorders, that particular situation probably doesn't help with blood pressure issues.

I read a biography of Karen Carpenter the other day. Poor woman. So many people going through life, wounded butterflies who look beautiful on the outside but with scars on the inside where they're invisible to the rest of us.

The house is looking pretty great too, we are working away inside our house right now as well, but it seems the demolition never ends. ugh.

Dang! If we could buy jalapenos in this part of the world, we actually COULD have some pico or salsa.

The heat in May killed all of my peppers, so I decided I'd just buy them this year, lol. Great decision since everything is still under quarrantine or something here.

Your Romas look lovely!

Please, no more pictures of tomatoes. I feel queesy.

You should go to bed and rest. We'll come back tomorrow when you've recovered!

Hugs!

I'm with "noble pig". Margharita pizza is what you need.

We grow cherry tomatoes. By the end of the summer we are picking a hundred a day. Please give me some guidance. What can I do with them all?!

Happy picking.

I can't believe you're getting so many tomatoes! Are you making some good sauce with them or salsa? Or both?
