Something for the Garden

Tonight the Hunny and I were out and about, looking for a padlock for our daughter. I was drawn to the clearance aisle at Ace and found something I'd been looking for all year without ever knowing it. Something which needed to come home with me Look!

Aren't they darling? What are they for? They're hose minders. I find that as I water the garden, I drag the hose across my flowers, crushing them. These gnomes will keep the hose in its place.

I was just going to get one, but my Hunny pointed out that he needed his girlfriend. And, well, you can't just have two. So there.

Until I write again ...

Oh, I need to get some hose minders as well. Great idea. I'd like some with frogs I think. :) Very cute.

Such a romantic Hunny is, all worried about your little garden friend without his girlfriend. They are really cute and what a great idea. I didn't know they made such things.

LOL Your commenters are funny, Flea. You've surrounded yourself with such witty folks! I love the gnomes. I can't help but wonder about G3's role, tho, if 1 & 2 are sweeties. Hmm. Pool boy?

I'm laughing because I had to re-read the first line.... the first time I read it, it sounded like you were padlocking your daughter. :)

I read it the same way as Sports Mama! I was like, "wow, I had no idea Maybelline was in so much trouble!"

I'm feeling very insignificant with my non-sewing/smocking self. And, then you found gnomes! Garden gnomes? They're adorable.

Cute! We were gnomed this summer. One day a little guy just appeared in our garden... I guess he just walked right on in.
