It wouldn't be the weekend at Flea's World without a house update, right? Right? Check out the progress:
Oh. Hey. Sorry. I thought it was going to rain and got really excited. Did you know that it's been between 104 and 106 degrees here the last few days? That's kinda warm, even for me. And I'm the kinda girl who loves to climb into a hot car and just sit. It's cozy, ya know? But this is more like climbing into an oven to sit.
So, that said, we got no rain. We also have little progress on the house. I think the Hunny's afraid the paint will spontaneously combust while drying if he paints in this heat. I'm afraid the Hunny will spontaneously combust in this heat. But he's managed to get a little done, mostly in the mornings early. While it's still in the 90's. See?
He got the side door painted! He also painted the other side of the house, the side friends of our dubbed the camouflage wall. Now it's just green, but I was too absorbed in the sky to take pictures of the wall. Sorry. But look!
It really did look like rain. I'm so disappointed.
Until I write again ...
