When I opened it, I was surprised to find all of THIS:
I just kept digging and digging to the bottom of the box! Souvenirs from Fred & Bessie's travels! The wonderful Snooty, who hosted them prior to their misadventures getting lost, sent the box! Thank you, Snooty! Let's take a look at what's in it, shall we?
I love the cow backpack! Can't let my daughter see it, though, or it will disappear! These are the Texas souvenirs! I was actually born in Austin, but haven't lived in Texas since about the age of two (there's a bumper sticker saying something about not being born there - which Fred and Bessie weren't. They were born in Louisiana).
Aren't the tiny cowboy hats and sombreros to die for? And the itsy bitsy shaky thingies! Somebody tell me what those are, please? The jalapeno seeds! And the map - I'm guessing that would have come in handy when they were leaving Texas. I'll have to make sure AG gets a trip tik, or a mapquest print out before they leave for New York City in a few weeks.
Then there are their souvenirs from England and J the Grockle! Check 'em out:
I wonder how the family will like curry? Just to be safe, I'll wait till F&B come home before trying the recipe.
And my absolute favorite in the entire box, which made me squeal like a monkey?
A tiny red TARDIS!!!! I know it's a police call box. But LOOK! A TARDIS!!! *swoon*
Thank you, thank you! Fred & Bessie will have a fantastic time, if they ever come home, going through these treasures from their travels, reminiscing about the time they ... well, you understand.
Until I write again ...

They have some Connecticut souvenirs, too! And they are on the way!
You have to love the souvenirs! Wow... those are awesome!
Awesome souvenirs they racked up. They sure are loved, aren't they?
Those silly cows....
I think that is actually a replica of a British telephone booth ...
Wow .. what a treasure trove of fun stuff ... now I am challenged to find clever stuff from NYC .. oy...

OMG adorable you lucky girl!
That was sweet of Fred & Bessie to send home souvenirs! What thoughtful cows! :o)
Maracas? I couldn't tell what the "tiny shaky things" were in the picture, but I am guessing if they went with the Sombreros, they're Maracas.
You crack me up!
How fun to get all of those souvenirs!
Say, that's some mighty fine loot! The curry sauce looks delish, also.
ROCKIN' STUFF!!! Hmmmm... *lookin' in the desk drawers for stuff other people might find interesting*
I'm wondering why J is a Grockle? And, I laughed cause I knew the Tardis reference thanks to Puppy's love of the Doctor. Hee hee. I want J to send me goods from the other side of the pond. Hmmmm.
