Karen, over at Surrounded by Sea Monkeys, has this clip up and I stole it. Shamelessly. I'm a hussy. But I enjoyed it tremendously and want to share!
It's a little long, but quite thought-provoking.
Until I write again ...

P.S. The Hunny and I have talked (a little) and he wants to fix the van - himself. Meaning pop it up on jacks, remove the fuel tank, change out the fuel filter. We haven't had time to reason this out, other than possibly saving about two thirds what it would cost a mechanic, but I think he plans to involve Oatmeal Head, who keeps talking about apprenticing with an auto mechanic. And when you can't apprentice with a real mechanic, why, working with a pretend mechanic will have to do!
I jest. The Hunny is very good at figuring things out. And he has friends with some minor mechanicing experience. (spell check let me keep mechanicing - how cool is that?)

HUGS Laura
Good luck to your hubby - I'm impressed and can't wait to read the results of this endeavor!
Thanks for your comments and prayers. We have a place called Scotty's think it's a chain. They switched out one of our fuel filters and didn't lose the gas.
Ugh I hear you on that.
I think it's a hymn, Trust and Obey when there's no other way.
It won't always be like this and they just may learn something. It'll be a father and son bonding thing you know?
And ya'll can keep out an eagle eye for a good deal, not under pressure.
So that is the brightest side I can find. When I come home I'm going to take a picture of the rear end of my car. You'll love the Grand Ma.
And by the way I LOVE this guy GF never heard him before but this was stinkin cool! oh yeah-AMEN.
You may steal from me anytime. I hope Hunny and Oatmeal Head have a good bonding experience over the mechanicing going on at your house. I'm sure it will all be working great in a day or two.
I like the video. I have always said that if you don't vote, you have no right to complain.
I wish good progress on your van by Hubby and O.H.
Good luck, my hubby loves doing stuff like fixing the car, I think lots of men love it.
Loved the video. I agree wholeheartedly. Just vote. Don't take your right to vote for granted! How can you not vote in this climate with history making candidates?
LOL. You've just reminded me of a quote my husband pulls out when I get that glint in my eye and start swinging tools around: "It only costs a little more to do it yourself!"
May Mr. Hunny and O.H. have the best of luck with the repair!
I've got an old cavalier that Oatmeal Head is more than welcome to try his hand at replacing the catalytic converter. Just sayin'.
