We're off!

Well! Off to the hospital today! Who knows what I'll be bringing home? Hunny may be walking by dinner, or may be on crutches for the next month. We'll see!

I know what I'll be bringing with me to the hospital, though. Sudoku! My little hand-held electronic binky. And a book I've been trying to read for months. And the latest copy of Children's Writer, which I haven't even opened. What else can I catch up on? Oh! I can pleat the sleeves of the dress, of which I've finished the neck. Look!

I love it. Here's a close up of the little roses:

So much fun. So I'm going to pleat the sleeves and take this with me, so I can assemble it this weekend. Anyone out there having a baby girl anytime soon?

Until I write again ...

Good luck to you and Mr. Hunny!

Your workmanship is marvelous. If you ever desire a side income, I'll bet there are upscale stores which would love your smocking.

I hope your hunny is up and walking around soon. No, not having anymore baby girls anytime soon, or ever as far as I know. I love the dresses, but not quite enough to have another ;)

Good luck with his surgery. I will pray for a quick recovery.
I am afraid my baby girl is too big for that dress. Too bad. It is very pretty.

Tell me you did not do that.

Can I tell you how much I paid at a boutique for a smocked dress for Lola.

You're amazing-- I did tell you that, right? The dress is gorgeous. Since I'm behind here, I'm popping right off to see how this hospital trip turned out!

Goodness gracious! After laughing aloud at your rib-tickling joke I read on with a blythe spirit and then stopped cold. Whoa! I've been away for a while -- had no idea your hunny had his knee blow. Yikes! Glad all is repaired and healing nicely. I will add that into my ceaseless prayer list (along with a whole lot of peace and joy and laughter). Thanks for the joke. Hope I can remember it to share at dinner tonight. ; )

If I'm ever allowed to have another baby and it's a girl, I am sooooo commissioning a dress from you. :)
