Okay! First, the wee kitty. I have a picture! Lookit:
Isn't she cute? I think so. And there may be a new home for her soon. Cross your fingers! She's a little snuggle bug, this Bella. She's gained some weight since she's come to live with us and is just as affectionate as can be!
Second! A new friend (who doesn't post nearly often enough) has agreed to walk with me twice a week! Yay! We walk a very pretty path behind a park, along the highway, and there are trees everywhere. One of the things I love about Tulsa is the parks and walking paths. They're EVERYWHERE. And I can take my dogs to all of them! Tina doesn't know it yet, but we're each walking a dog next week when we walk. :)
The path we're on is so pretty that I decided to take Mr. Rebel this week. And every Friday, to chronicle the change of seasons in our new town. And that's what brings me to post today! For your viewing pleasure (it being a leisurely weekend and all, and because Bella's curled up next to me, keeping me warm), pictures of our path. I hope you enjoy.
Shady and cool. Not a very busy path on a work day at lunch time.
And see the little trail we found?
It didn't go anywhere but to someone's back yard. Darn. But we did find a pretty birdy. Who can tell me what kind of heron this is? Anyone? I squishy heart him (or her).
It was standing near a pond with a fountain.
What a good walk! I feel invigorated! I'll be taking Mr. Rebel every week. Unless it rains. But when it snows - look out! So at least I'll have a photo Sunday to look forward to. Well, except for next week. It'll be fall break and we'll be doing family stuff. Which means I'll be taking LOTS of photos! Woohoo! So be warned.
Until I write again ...

What a great trail find to nowhere! Love the pictures.
Heron variety. Hmmm. It seems to be ... one of those herons that has feathers. Heronous Greyous Featheritis.
Eh, I got nuthin'. Lovely trail, though!
Is it a heron or an egret? Sorry. Just don't know;) Hope the birthday month festivities continue on....

I wish we lived closer - I'd love to walk with you!
It's either a great blue heron or a tri-color hard to tell from the photo

I wish I had a Mr. Rebel . . .
That path is gorgeous. I wouldn't blame you for walking every single solitary day!
