The Magic Number

We have a winner of the tote to end all totes from the Birthday Extravaganza! I hopped over to the magic random number generator, plugged in my numbers (I added for the ones who linked to the Extravaganza), asked pretty please if I could have just one random number, tried a different random generator because I'm too darn stupid to figure out the first one, and came up with the number ... are you ready for this? Three!

Three is my sister! Marguerite! Then I had to ask myself if it was fair for family to win. I can hear Margo now, all the way in Louisiana, "Heck YEAH, it's fair for family to win!" And I'm tempted, because she rubbed it in that I'm starting year 42 (shut up), to go back and do that random generator thing again. But that really wouldn't be fair at all.

Congratulations, Margo! You'll be getting the bag in the mail sometime in the next two weeks. Or maybe I'll wait till I see you at Thanksgiving. Nah - even I'm not that mean. Just jealous that you're getting a tote and I'm not.

P.S. This week is our fall break, starting today. I took the weekend off of work and everything! Ready for the itinerary? Today we head to the Philbrook Museum in the morning, followed by a picnic lunch at the park, then the Gilcrease Museum in the afternoon (my favorite cowboy museum!). Tomorrow we'll head toward Tahlequah for a hike up Sparrow Hawk Mountain with the Babies. Saturday is spent in Woolaroc, near Bartlesville, watching wild animals, petting baby goats and checking out shrunken heads. For the low down on that, see my spring field trip post. Grandma wanted to see the shrunken heads, prolific gun collection and stuffed exotic animal heads, so she's coming with. And guess what? I'll have Mr. Rebel with me! Aren't you excited? Yeah, yeah. Wander away all you want. You'll be back. Meh.
