I voted, I voted, I voted! Here's the Good Flea before she voted:
... and here's the Good Flea after she voted!
I hate taking pictures of myself. But the second shot there has the coolest sticker, doncha think?
The Hunny and I waited until 8:30 this morning to vote. There's nothing unpatriotic about going to the polls a couple of hours after it opens, is there? I hope there's nothing unpatriotic about not having to wait in lines, because there were only four people ahead of us. The line around the building was there at 6:30. I like sleeping in on voting day!
If you haven't yet, get your butt out there and VOTE! Then get yourself to Starbucks for your free coffee. 'K?
Until I vote again ...
Flea

I voted!!! No free coffee here from Starbucks though....Boo
I voted! I had to wait in line for an hour, but it's worth it. :)
I read somewhere that the Starbucks thing may or may not be illegal. Something about soliciting votes, of any kind. Dunno for sure though.
And then come comment for a cause!
Starbucks is giving free coffee to everyone! Tall Drip. They can't reward voting, so it's open to all comers!
Vote!
Go you Flea!!
Too bad there is no Starbucks in my town. I would be there right now.
I voted. But I am not a Starbucks girl. Come get my sticker!
Awesome sticker! I voted absentee this year (no sticker -- boo hoo) but my hubby already got free coffee LAST NIGHT! (Hey wait, is that cheating or voter fraud or something?)
Just had to tell you I loved Miss Ky's nightie. I wiped a tear away as I saw her smile -- you are one terrific friend! I'm so glad I "know" you. I'm fantasizing about a big blogger party with all you great gals together for me to REALLY HUG. Jesus says, "Ask and ye shall receive" ... so I will. Disney says, "A dream is a wish your heart makes" ... maybe we should meet in Disneyland/World??? Sounds good to me. Let me ask Jesus! : )
Love you Flea -- you're so GOOD!
And your glasses ROCK!
You get free coffee for voting??? We don't here in Canada. :o(
Yup, I've voted too.
Wow, voting really changed you!
Love the sticker.
As far as self portraits go, not so bad. Pretty good acutually.
Going to vote soon.
Hubby went to vote at 6:20am and came home almost two hours later. Then it was my turn. It only took me one hour. It was all the talk in line about where you can go and get free food and drink today. Me? I just went right back home and fed my kids what was already in the fridge!
Good for you, did you go get your coffee?!
I waited 40 minutes - got there 15 mins. before they opened. The line of cars at Starbucks was too long - had to get to work. Krispy Kreme and Chick File were also giving free goodies.
Voted. Told Diane I voted. Did not drive 40 miles to the nearest Starbucks. My coffee is better than theirs anyway. Love the pics of you. You have cool glasses. that is all.
You were lucky. I went at 9, stood in line for about an hour and a half. Got inside the building, stood in another line, filled it out, stood in another line to put the sheet in the machine, and finally escaped 1 hour and 50 minutes from the start. Just in time to pick up the youngest from PreK. The line was just as long as whenI came out as it was when I had gotten in it. Got the Starbucks coffee, but YUCK! I'm a Dunkin' girl :) I did manage to salvage the Starbucks with half a cup of sugar lol.
I voted!
But I didn't lose weight as it looks like you did. Drat. I want to go to your voting place.
I voted early. Like 2 weeks ago, early! I kinda felt left out today...but, our are is all suburban and there is only one place in town to go. I chose not to stand in line for hours with my almost 4 yr old.
Love the idea of the before and after. Didn't go for the coffee either. I am a tea drinker. But, it is very cool that so many companies were giving away free stuff.
I had to wait for 2 hours today to vote and I didn't even care. It was so gratifying to do it!
I'm sorta jealous you didn't have to wait, though.
I blogged, I voted and I called people in my district.
I voted, very unceremoniously, several weeks ago. Of course, I understand that my vote doesn't really count and it didn't on another election, but I did it ;-/
I'm with ya! I waited until one, hoping to miss the going-to-work crowd, and the lunch crowd. It worked great! No line at all!
Yup. I voted. I got my (same) sticker and drove to Starbuck's for my free cup of java. What a treat!
