I'm not usually an early shopper, though I have a few things tucked away already. And this will be a pretty lean Christmas for a few of us, including my family. Mostly because we're scaling back on the budget to enhance our savings. Who isn't, y'know? But being November, I'm starting to think about some of the little things I'd like to get for people in my family. Stocking stuffers for my kids, things for extended family I love and don't want to leave out. Fun stuff!
None of these companies are paying me (or even know I exist!). I just really like their merchandise and thought I'd share some of what I'll be doing this year for Christmas. Oatmeal Head and Maybelline have already been requesting a couple of the items I'll show you.
First up is a favorite of mine, though I'm not quite sure who'll be getting this in their stocking. Wait ... yeah, I do. Heh. Check it out.
Cool, huh? I want one. It's Archie McPhee's Crazy Cat Lady action figure. I ordered stocking stuffers from them last year and they were a big hit. OH has requested this:
For five bucks, how could I say no? What's not to love about bacon?
Probably my boy's favorite, though, was this one:
We'll see. This gift will probably wind up on his door as a doorbell. And it's for emergencies only, people.
For the tiny people in the extended family, I'm having a hard time staying away from things like this:
Isn't he darling? Destructive creatures that they are, this little guy is just too cute! Folkmanis finger puppets are priced right for stocking stuffers, too! They have a huge assortment of puppets, but the finger puppets are my fave.

Cool, huh? ThinkGeek, a fun shop, handles these beauties. It's a remote control which controls nearly any TV on the planet. Can you see the possibilities? Mwahaha!
And this would be great for my Hunny, wouldn't it?

I ordered my sister's birthday gifts from the next company. Love their products! This is one of my more favorite stocking stuffer choices:
It should be in MY stocking. I'm notorious for my lists, but this is perfect! I should also get one of these in my stocking. You know.

Of course it goes without saying that everyone will be getting something from Fred & Bessie this Christmas. Heh.

Being a complete list person, I'd love that tattoo. But fear it would wash off. I'd have to have a second list for a backup.

I have no idea about buying anything for Christmas this year. Last year I just didn't. those are fun ideas though I'm going to have to go over to thinkgeek my kids might like some of that.
I have no idea how you come up with this stuff, but it sure is fun that you do. I personally really like the tattoo sticky notes. Fred and Bessie Tattoos-- THAT's what we all need.
