Traveling Via Sky Photos

I'm here! Here in central Louisiana, enjoying my family. Some of them, at any rate. Some haven't yet arrived, but my mom and aunts are all together, so the party has started!

First, though, I must tell you about my Christmas present. We opened gifts back in Tulsa on Friday night and I got the one thing I asked for - a tiny purse camera! It's even pink! So I spent a good part of the drive out taking sky pictures (I love the sky). I'm going to drop a few in here, so bear with me?


I was attempting to sleep, having worked all night, but found I couldn't. This first was taken about an hour from the house, going south on 75 from Tulsa. I think it was the last of blue skies I'll see till I'm home again.


From here I lose track of what was taken where. I did manage to sleep through all of Arkansas, but some of these are Oklahoma, others Texas, and the last few are Louisiana. I like them all.

Also in Texas, a tree and mistletoe. I just love all of the mistletoe. It's all over Tulsa. Maybe when I get home, the Hunny and I will go for a walk ...


This was my "sky" while trying to sleep. The headliner in the van has completely fallen. We stopped at an auto parts store one day last year to get spray adhesive, but it was toxic and would take 24 hours to cure. We were going out of town. So we went to the grocery and picked up thumbtacks. I let the kids make constellations with theirs.


Pretty sure this is Louisiana. We'd already passed Shreveport, since that's where I woke up.


I'll let this be the last. I know y'all have Christmas to attend to. And tomorrow is Christmas Eve! Which is when I'll be posting people pictures. Heh. I love you guys. Have a merry Christmas!
