I'm still struggling with schedule - mine and my blog's. The two were one and the same before my hiatus. I'm now determined that they be separate. I went through horrible blog withdrawals the first week I was away and I do NOT want to go through that again. On so many levels. Fortunately, Michelle, at Scribbit, recently posted her blogging schedule. I'll be modifying and printing it out to use for myself.
I saw my objective third party today and spoke with her for an hour and a half. I like her. I think it's a good fit. We're going to unpack my life, see what's worth keeping, what needs to be tossed and determine what needs to be done with the rest. Ayup. Definitely a keeper.
Now! Pictures! Here's the Good Flea before:
The Good Flea before with straight hair:
The Good Flea after, with wavy bed-head:
(oh, and no makeup)
The Good Flea after, sporting the straight hair:
My main objective in getting the hair cut was simply to see what I would look like with short, stylish straight hair. Forty one years with thick, curly hair, full of body, and I just wanted to see myself like all the other girls with their cute do's. Is that so wrong? Maybe. But I'm really liking it. Muchly.
So I have to go. I'm a monitor at the intermediate school for the writing assessments taking place today. You all have a good one!
Until I write again ...

You look terrific! My hair is a lot like yours, but with the addition of two very nasty cowlicks right up front that make it utterly impossible for me to wear bangs. As it is on a bad day I already look like a bull with bad horns!
As for the other - unpacking and sorting. Good, helpful stuff. More power to you, and to your objective third-party.
Blog schedule? What the flaming ...
is that?
What page in the Blog Rules book is that on??? Huh?, Well, Huh?? :)
It's very fitting on you. You look great and ready for spring.
I love it!
COOL!!!! :D I love it, lots!
Nice, I vote for wavy vs straight .. short hair straight IMO needs to be STRAIGHT .. STICK .. SMOOTH straight which is not so easy to maintain .. Just sayin' ... LOVE how it makes your face thinner, brings out your cheek bones!
That looks cute!!!
Love the new Do!!! I need a blog/computer schedule too! I find myself sitting in front of the screen hitting buttons.."just one more" Well, that one more is an hour later.
Looks great on you!
Cute hair! When I entered the 40-zone I bobbed my flowing tresses. It was cute and sassy and SO FUN in the convertible. But . . . in time I have returned to long locks -- less work, more me.
Bloggy schedule . . . it's a necessary thing! ; D
Very nice. Schedule...I can't seem to find a schedule. Just when the mood strikes for now. Although I don't have the kiddos home anymore my life seems busier that it was before...don't understand. Must have replaced with other stuff that "I" want to do!
Super new do! It looks great! I am just glad that you are back to blogging. I missed you!
I love it Flea! You are so pretty!
We think the flea is purty both ways and MJ says the longer the hair the better (but we all know she is young still LOL)
Love the cut!!! Oh the schedule thing is an issue for me too. It makes me feel flakey that I can't seem to keep everything going and do things whenever the whim hits.
Those are all good looks on you. Enjoy the change!
I like the straight myself, but if it's gonna be a lot of work for you don't do it. I'm all for low maintenance.
Love the cut, it's very cute!
Oh how I wish I had thick wavy hair. No matter the frizz....I have super fine and stick straight hair which begs me to make it hold a curl. Just won't do it. Perms last about a month. Damn stuff. OK I am loving the new cut both curly and straight. Very cute.
Great look for you. You look very fresh. Great to have you back. I missed my daily dose of flea.
Love your new style. :)
You are a keeper with or without makeup. Straight, wavy, thick or whatever.
So glad you're back! At least for the time being...
I love it! I so admire you putting your photos out there. As I've gotten older and my face has fallen to my knees, I can't do it.
Visited Scribbit. Good grief. Has she got it all together or what? Sigh. I want to not work and blog and read blogs. Bad.
Flea, you look GOOD!!
I'm glad you are happy with your thir party, happy packing!
Oh yeah, I like the straight-- very youthful and flirty-- although I know what a pain the straightening is. You have gorgeous wavy/curly hair, why fight it?
Oh, and I still think that long and straight haired photo is very sexy... now what's this about that toffee?
I really liked the straight with make-up! Ha! I have thick wavy hair too, and yes, it's a huge effort to not look homeless!
Thick curly hair with lots of body. Damn.
*stomping away, green with envy*
