I have finished the novel. The Christian romance novel printed LARGE. And published by Harlequin! Seriously. It took me awhile to stop laughing and start reading after I found that. And it took all of one evening to read. Seriously. Must be the large print.
What did I think of this book? A nice romance novel. Not a lot of substance. But well done for the genre, I guess. Nice twists and turns. But I didn't tear up once. And the love interests frustrated me with their lack of depth. Argh. Romance is so not for me. At least the novels aren't. Well. Ask my Hunny. Maybe it's not overall. Hard to say.
Now, friend bloggers, this book can be yours. Restless Hearts (Love Inspired)
is certainly Christian in nature, though shallow at best. The romance itself leaves something to be desired. I won't tell you exactly how many passionate kisses were shared, but it's less than a handful. The author does a nice job of building the tension between the two characters. I didn't put the book down, anyway. And it seems this is one in a series, if I'm not mistaken. Something about the Flanagan family, of which the main character is part.
Leave a comment, please, if you'd like this book. I'll send you my copy, only read ONCE, in LARGE print. And I'll send you my AARP card with it. Puh-lease. I'll also choose the lucky reader randomly. If you don't want the book, just let me know in your comment. I'll probably still send it to you if you win, anyway. Heh. Just cuz I love you all.
Last chance to comment is Friday at noon - that being noon where ever you are. And no, there was nothing outstandingly ridiculous. Sorry. Just a benign romance novel.
Until I write again ...
