Prezzies!

I opened the door and what did appear?
A package from the South, handled with care.
I opened it, wanting to see the contents.
What should I find but handmade presents!

I was going to write a long poem, but I suck at rhyming. Heh. Sorry.

Karen, at Fresh Fixins, sent me a box! A box full of homemade prezzies! Check out the hand painted measuring cups! And the handmade dish cloth! And the
extremely cool cookbook!

It's always exciting to open the door and find a package waiting, but this one was more wonderful than most. Aren't those measuring cups darling? I have to figure out where to display them. And I can't WAIT to use them!

But the cookbook! Oh my! You all must get one for yourselves! It's full of the most wonderful recipes and practical helps! I want to try the scones recipe! Yes, I almost want to really cook!

Why would Karen Deborah send me such wonderful homemade prezzies, you ask? Because I sent her a couple of these:

And guess what I just finished? One of these:

You'll see for whom shortly. And it's for my new etsy! Which has a picture of Miss Ky in the one and only dress option at the moment. Hence the above dress for photos. And because I squishy heart the mommy to whom I sent it.

Hope you all have a Happy Hump Day! I know I plan to. ;)

Until I write again ...

Flea

How cool is that - I LOVE those painted measuring spoons!

Is the first photo you showed of your stuff a skirt? My daughter would go crazy for a twirly skirt like that. I must go check out your etsy store.

How cool. Oh, my dear friend used to do that smocking stuff and made baby things for my girls many, many, MANY years ago. So sweet. I tried it once but not my cup of tea. Just beautiful.

I'm soooo glad you like the book! Have you gone over to Karey's blog?
I love the art her husband did it all. Thanks again for the dresses.
