Summer's Nearly Here

Summer is almost here. I know these things. Rather, my Babies know these things. See this pile o'fur?

It comes from Flash:

And Patches:
They've been shedding like mad! So summer is just around the corner. And I'm so grateful for my lovely five dollar undercoat brush:

Oh, and the kidlets will be out of school in just a couple of days, so summer must be just around the corner!

Until I write again ...

We're not out of school until the 22nd!

I am all too familiar with that pile in your first photo. I swear Stella should be bald what with the amount of hair she sheds! Yuk!

Between Gus, Rose and me the hair balls are like tumble weed ... I am always thankful that Gus's asthma keeps us from getting carpeting...

Wow! That is a lot of hair sitting there! At least you got it off the pups outside! That brush rocks!

Fortunately, the Brute Squad does not shed so much, but still, there are a lot of "hair bunnies" on the hard wood. I blame the cats!

Our school is not out for a while either. K3 graduates the 18th. It is such a huge step for her....

I'm glad our dogs live outdoors.

Tomorrow's our last day of school here.

Our big ol' hairy cat had to have another spa treatment (see early blog)shampoo, nails done ;-). When he FINALLY dried off, he got the combing of his life. Enough fluff to stuff a small pillow. But he looks much better. Wonder if I could get a smaller version of that comb?

... and with the kidlets out, THEY can comb the fur friends. Bwahahahahaha!

Ick.

My son is done on June 11th. Can't wait. I'm just tired of the activities, and anyway they all play better when they are together.

Maybe I need one of those brushes for myself.

PFFT! I SCOFF at that measly patch of fur! :) Holly, our Norwegian Elkhound, sheds an extra dog a WEEK! Luckily, Troy does the combing/shedding thing with her, because it's like fighting the tide...it always comes back!
