Thank you so so so so so much, everyone who has hosted the bovines! I'm going to do this from memory, and it's been over a year, so shoot me if I miss anyone?
Thank you Dlyn, who harbored my little runaways last spring. Thank you Mental Pause Mama, who taught Bessie to drink. Thank you J the Grockle, who toured England with my babies. Thank you Snooty, who introduced Fred & Bessie to dinosaurs and imported beer. Thank you AsthmaGirl, who swooped in to rescue the cows when they were "kidnapped" (I still can't believe I fell for Bessie's tricks) in New Mexico. Thank you also Brute Squad, for interpreting.
Thank you Daryl, for showing the bovines a great time in New York City, and your hubby for entertaining Fred. Thank you Holly, for replacing Carl the Flyswatter with the bovines for a brief bit. Thank you Debbie in CA, for letting the cows simply rest in your cottage. Thank you Laura, for showing them around the koi pond, and the divine Miss EmJay for taking such good care of my baby cows. Thank you Lois, for teaching the cows important lessons on life and love.
Did I miss anyone? I hope not. You've all taken such fabulous care of my babies, rescued them from so many potentially bad situations. I appreciate it!
And I'm glad to have them home. Now if I can just manage to keep them out of trouble ...
Until I write again ...

Thank goodness they're home. Just don't take Fred to any pubs. He cannot hold his cider!
The Brute Squad says "hey!"
Good luck keeping the bovines at home. Hopefully, they have gotten the travel-lust out of their systems. You had better keep them away from Mr. Monkeysuit though or he might go on the lamb also!
Gus and Rose say come visit again it was a lot of fun having cows visit
yep glad you cows made it home safe... we miss you come back anytime :) bring flea with you too!
make sure you keep them entertained, I bet they have allegergies, the Oklahoma kind caused from dust!

I hope they weren't shaken up too much from their travels!
Haha....that'll be the day....keeping F & B out of trouble! Good luck! They were so muich fun to have around, though....thanks so much for allowing them to travel, which is an education in itself, so they say. (I didn't realize they had been overseas....wow.)
Welcome home, Fred and Bessie! Watch out for Mr. Monkeysuit. He may look cute, but he's baaaaad.
I guess the party's over, now that the cows came home.
And, let's don't forget Janie (Sounding Forth) who bought them all the wonderful West Texas garb & goodies! I gave them the Mexican sombreros , castanets, and blankets, lol. Oh and Mexican beer. ;-)
I had so much fun with Fred & Bessie when they were here! Golf cart surfing was probably my favorite activity with that zany pair of bevos. But, having lunch with Janie & the bovines was ranked right up there too. They were hilarious in their cowboy hats at the Italian restaurant.
My hosting of Fred & Bessie just confirmed local suspicion that I'm stark raving nuts. It's nice to be out of the closet.
Very clever idea you had there, my friend!
The big question in my mind is, where did the hosts find ceramic hay to feed these critters?
However much F & B may brag about their adventures, I know they are truly glad to be home.
