Kitchen Fun!

My sister, she's moving to a new house sometime soon. Hi Evil Sister! Are you going to get your own blog when you get your own house? I think my sister and MIT Mommy would probably hit it off if one of them would just move halfway cross the country to be near the other. I didn't take my Adderall XR today. Can you tell?

ANYWHO ... the POINT of this post is to show you all fun things I found while looking for said Evil Sister's birthday gift this year. Her birthday is July 22nd. I remember when she was born. I was eight. I won. Because I got the bunkbed in my room and Lil' Bro didn't. Sisters rock.

Umm. Okay. The point. Wait. Do I have a point? Yeah - the title says I want to talk about kitchen fun. Oh yeah! So I'm looking for birthday gifts in the usual places (and this is where Evil Sister needs to stop reading - just have your Hunny read, but don't ask him why he's laughing), and found some most fun things. I just had to share. Partly because it's a slow blog week. Partly because they made me laugh. Partly because I need to take my medication. Hmmm ...

This first is so sadly true ...

See? I always forget mine in the car.

And this - words escape me:

But these! These are my favorites!

Aren't they fun? And all of these were at Archie McPhee's site in the Kitchen section. I squishy heart Archie McPhee. I also less-than-three him. See? <3

Really, the point of these particular gifts is that my Evil Sister is going to have her first decent sized kitchen EVER. So she needs appropriate kitchen items. *ahem*

Until l write again ...

Okay. That bag is hysterical. How many times have we all gone in and forgotten them? gah. I love the apron and ice cubes, too! I think she'll be pleased;)

The bag would be perfect for me, too....I do that all the time. Evil Sister's b-day is on my wedding anniversary.

Lucky for me having no car I dont ever leave my not paper/not plastic shopping bag in it .. however I used to always forget it at home ... now I have one I can roll up into a small little square and stuff it into whatever purse I am using ... I am so wonderful I even make myself a little queasy

Love the grocery sack! I think a T-shirt with the same words on it might be appropriate -- with the addition of "OLD" in front of "BAG." Sexist? No.. just warped. I need my own medication... soon!

I've bought a gazillion reusable grocery bags and leave them in my car ALL THE TIME!

You are so funny. I only pulled up your site to grab your url, since I am linking to you now. We leave very soon - as soon as my hubby gets home! I'm going to SO miss you.

Ack. I'm excited and I know this will be totally fun, but I'm on line minutes before we leave for good reason.

Call it COLD TURKEY. I'm going to shake myself to sleep tonight.

BTW - Love to meet your sister sometime. I'm sure it would be a trip. I must get that ice cube tray for my brother.

I really need some of those bags too. But then I'm not sure I need everyone else knowing what space case I am. So maybe not. But then if they were in my car, not one would know. So maybe. But then if they were in my car I guess I wouldn't need them. So maybe not. I have a real problem here. I am going to have to work on this through the day today. And I am on vacation you know. I don't need this kind of stress. Thanks a lot, Flea. Now my vacation is ruined.
