Land of the Lost, a Movie Review

I have a confession to make. I LOVE movies chock full of juvenile teenage boy humor. Love. Dodge Ball? Made me laugh till my sides hurt. Once I got past the first 20 minutes of the "f" word, Happy Gilmore about split me in two laughing. Watching Bob Barker beat up Adam Sandler was the BEST. Stupid-funny movies, despite the crass teenage boy humor, near 'bout kill me.

That said, I give Land of the Lost two thumbs and a big toe up. Hunny took the day off work and we all went to see it. Here - I thought the trailer might contain all the funny parts and I'd be disappointed. I was wrong. WRONG.

Omigosh. I probably laughed harder than anyone in the theater. Through the entire film. I hated this show as a kid, so I went in with very little in the way of expectations. I came away a happy woman. I haven't laughed this hard since I can't rememebr when.

Will, the sidekick, was hysterical. Again, definitely juvenile teenage boy humor. If that's not your thing, DON'T SEE THIS MOVIE. But I know that my Lil' Bro would love it. He and Mr. Uncle should go see it. Will Ferrill's character is so brilliantly Will Ferrill. The man's a comic genius.

I still hurt from laughing. If you like juvenile humor and can tolerate crass, do yourself a favor and go see this film. You won't be disappointed.

Until I write again ...

An enthusiastic movie reviewer you are!! My 16-year-old son will enjoy this one, I'm sure.

Hey - I love Will Ferrell & stupid teenage boy humor. I can't wait to see it! Hopefully, it will come to the drive-in.
