Hello and Merry Christmas. The fam and I are in Louisiana for Christmas. We attended my grandmother's funeral today. She was 91. Much loved and missed. Well remembered. Just a few photo highlights from the day, if you'll indulge me?
Cousins - Laurie, the long, lost cousin
Cousins - Wally, it's been years.
More cousins - Patsy! My favorite older cousin!
You haven't seen my monkey, have you?
Oh. My Hunny found Mr. Monkeysuit. They don't get along so well.
Younger cousins - Mary and Katie (the spring bride!)
Baby cousins
It was a good day. Except that my Hunny kept walking into my grandmother's room, as we all do when we walk into the house, to say hello. Which makes me cry.
Merry Christmas, everyone. May it be your happiest one yet.
Until I write again ...
Flea

Much love to all your family, Flea. Merry Christmas. It's good to have family. :)
I'm sorry for your loss but how well loved your grandmother must have been for everyone to gather and cherish her memory.
Merry Christmas Flea.
Oh Flea, I'm so sorry about your grandma. Lots of love to you and all of your family......
I am so sorry for your sad loss. But hope you took comfort in being with all your far flung family. Hugs.
Sending warm comfort from the cold country. One last gift from much loved people is the family gathering that happens when they leave. Your grandmother was probably there enjoying the get-together with all of you. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
God Bless you and your family as you mourn the loss of your grandmother and celebrate her life.
Merry Christmas too!
Oh Flea I am so sorry for your loss, death is so hard at Christmas. Thankfully Christmas made our hope of seeing these ones again real.
God comfort and bless you and I pray your family has the best Christmas ever.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your Grandmother. Sending good prayers your way for a blessed Christmas and 2010.
Blessings,
Nancy

I'm so sorry :-( I hope you were able to bask in wonderful shared memories while you were all together.
I'm not at all shocked that Mr. M managed to break into the post :-)
Merry Christmas, sis!!
So sorry for your loss .. I am glad you got to see her a few months ago .
Merry Christmas!
Oh Flea... so sorry to read about this! No matter how long our grandmas live... we still don't want to say goodbye. For now.
(((HUGS)))
Flea - it was so good to see you (and all your family) too there...and it'll be our little secret that I'm your favorite OLDER cousin!!! You are too good to me! And it was so good to meet Mr. Monkeysuit in person...but I still missed meeting Freddie and Bessie, those resident bovines. One day...
