Last year I received a pound of dark chocolate toffee from English Toffee Anytime, in return for a little ad space. OH. EM. GEE. It was about the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. Ever. Lookit:

A couple of days ago someone mentioned something which reminded me of the toffee. Periodically my Hunny will ask what I want as a gift and I'll tell him I want a pound of the toffee. Sometimes I just crave it. But I've never ordered any. Huh.
Once my thyroid stops being a total butt and I can lose some weight, I plan on ordering a box. Y'all, this toffee is so luscious, so buttery and light, so melt-in-the-mouth. You just have to try it. They even send you a sample of all three types if you pay the shipping. It's so worth it. Every last bite. There's no hard crunch as you bite into it, but it's firm and crisp. Mmmmm.

First of all - so sorry about the thyroid craziness! I hope that gets worked out soon. Until then - nap without guilt and keep coffee on hand for those times you MUST be away from the house.
Next - oh, drool! I really want some of that toffee! My birthday is coming up - maybe I will hint about this to hubby!
