Oatmeal Head is Hurt ... Again

WARNING! Some photos in today's post may be gory. Proceed with caution.

Today here on Flea's World, we feature Oatmeal Head! The second spawn of the Good Flea! Last week Oatmeal Head had an adventure that I'd like to highlight today. We lovingly call it The Splitting of Oatmeal Head's Head. Yeah. I like the way that sounds.

The boy's in track. Track season's over, so the team was playing Ultimate Frisbee. Boys running, watching the Frisbee instead of where they're going. Someone's bound to get hurt. See?

And get stitches! Five of them! See?

The doctor did a great job. Here's the head the next day. See?

What a goober.

We love urgent care. Again, cheaper than the ER, and we're in and out in under an hour. It rocks.

So yesterday it was time to get the stitches out. We had a doctor's appointment scheduled, meeting a new doctor, so we let her take them out. Tiny little thing with a big baby in her belly. She did a fine job removing them. See?

OH said it didn't hurt, but it was a little uncomfortable. See?

He let me take one last photo of the healing scar. Because the Mamarazzi does what the Mamarazzi has to do. See?

Silly boy.

Until I write again ...

Flea

What a good boy he is to let you ram that camera in his face continually. Oh and I don't get it. Urgent care?? You were in there under an hour? Our urgent care is worse than the emergency room. I once sat in urgent care with my daughter over 7 hours with people wretching, moaning, bleeing all around us. You would never catch me back there again. I am glad yours is better.

Now get some Bio Oil and rub it on that scar. We cannot have that beautiful face marred at all!

he lives! Lives to fling a disk again, fall off moving objects, run in to trees, and all the other things that will cause scars... gotta love em'.

You better quit posting pictures of that kid or every female within a hundred miles will be flocking to your door. He's a mighty purty baby and that little scar kinda adds it's own appeal doesn't it?

I've been following this saga on Facebook! Glad to see it has a happy ending!

ANYTIME you can get in and out of an ER situation with a large, male fruit of your womb in under an hour you have witnessed a MIRACLE! To get a pretty female DR. is just JACKPOT. Glad the Oatmeal Head is healing so nicely.

When in the world did he grow up?!

I'm glad he's on the mend. Now, to come up with a story to match the scar. Perhaps something about dodging flying sawblades? Or perhaps he was defending the homestead against wolverines?

The possibilities are endless!

Thank goodness he was ok, and boys will be boys!

Well, he gave you some good blogging material, anyway! He's darn darlin' and I think the scar gives him the "tough man" look with the scruff all the young girls dig!
