I've changed my mind. Again. True story.
That professional writing degree looks sooooo good. But the two hour commute each way looks so bad. So I'm talking to a friend who advises students here in town and she mentions that University of Oklahoma has a liberal studies degree - all online.
How cool is that? I can design my own degree! So tell me, dear friends, what I should study. There are so many options! I hate options. Help!
Seriously. Tell me what to do.
Until I write again ...

Just start taking classes that appeal to you right now, and you can declare your studies as you get deeper in. That's what I did when I went back to school. I was going to get a Bachelor in General Studies because I wanted to go to law school. Then I decided that I loved all my lit classes so I got a degree in English. Then went on to get a master's in Public Communications. You never know....
MPM has some good advice.

I'm still thinking about what a clean mind you must have. And that I may have to change mine more often.
well isnt that cool....however i have no great advice on what courses you should take...I know I am NO help
I second MPM. :) You know, this means you will have to get internet hooked up again.
Interpretive dance. Mime. The Life of a Tadpole: A Short Story. Balloon Animals.
Start there and see where those take you. Who knows? You just might combine them all and create a trend.
I'd have a hard time with that commute...
I agree with MPM too. Do what you love hon!
I have no degree except for the 64 showing up on my weather bar....
Google the crap outta that degree you want, honey. Four hours a day is a heck of a lot to invest in something if you can get the same thing at home.
Just my humble... oh, who am I trying to kid. I's just my opinion. ;-)
a writing degree--does the other school offer classes on line? that is the way of the future.
whoops you said none of it is on line in the next post. check out writing programs on line and see what you come up with. 2 hours commute is a no brainer if you want to live. yeah it would kill you.
Wow! Fabulous!
Wish that was available when I was attending college!
I have NO idea what to suggest...other than writing since you're fab at it and seem to love it. I agree with everyone else. Find what you love!
One steps at a time. Take something that looks interesting and see where it takes you. Something kind of fun first then it may lead to the right direction. I started my associates with a horticulture class on the idea of becoming a horticulturist and ended up with an associates in Business Administration then a bachelors in Organizational Leadership. Not sure what happened but it just lead me that way. Good luck!
I third MPM and the others who suggested baby steps. I think you have a gift for creative writing, and that's certainly a degree option. Glad to see you back, girlie. It's not enough to keep up on fb. :)
Wow, that sounds neat. I've never even heard of such a thing but would be super interested too. What are you thinking of going with?
