See that? That's my grandmother's kiln. Working. It's been sitting in my garage for two years with no outlet the right size to plug it in. This weekend a friend of ours ran a new outlet just for the kiln. And it works! Now I get to sit with the manual and figure out how it all works. Go through the boxes and boxes of greenware, tools, paints, cones, clay, glass - and tear my hair out.
So! Any Tulsa friends want to help out and come play? It looks like so much fun, but I don't know where to start! I might just invite my favorite artist over to play. Heh. She knows how it all works. But it's an open invitation to anyone who has a clue what they're doing and has the time and inclination!
