I visited Russia in the summer of '91 and was so moved by the effect that Holocaust had on the Russia people. It is a part of their history that they have never recovered from. My husband and I are Christian Americans, and can't imagine the suffering that the Jewish people went through during Hitler's reign of terror--I wonder if we, too, one day will end up being persecuted for what we believe.
