Where is The Good Flea located?

What is the process for vendor load-in and load-out?
Vendor load-in begins at 8:00 AM each morning, and load-out starts promptly at 5:00 PM when the market closes.
Can Etsy and online-only businesses apply?
Absolutely.
The Good Flea is particularly well suited to brands that want to take their business from online to irl selling and meet their customers face-to-face.
Do I need insurance?
Current vendor requirements include event insurance before participation. Approved vendors receive the relevant onboarding information.
Can I leave my products at the market overnight?
No. Vendors must remove their products and setup materials at the end of each market day.
Is there an application fee?

What is the application deadline?
We're accepting applications on a rolling basis, while there is no deadline to apply, spaces are limited, so don't delay!

How do I pay my vendor fees?
Payment is completed through a fast and secure checkout process directly on our website once your application is approved. We accept all major credit cards and secure payment methods to confirm your booth space instantly.

Do vendors need any special licenses or permits?
Because we are currently not accepting food or drink vendors, standard New York City Department of Health permits are not required for your booth. However, depending on the type of goods you sell (such as taxable retail items), you should ensure you comply with New York State sales tax requirements. Approved vendors are responsible for their own business compliance.
What if I need to cancel or change my date?
Vendor fees are non-refundable, as we allocate resources and plan operations based on expected participants. However, we understand that plans can change!
If your market date is more than 14 days away, you can cancel your date(s) by emailing is at booking@thegoodflea.com to reschedule.
If we cancel the event due to weather, you’ll receive a full refund of your vendor fee.
Operations and Logistics
Do vendors need to bring their own setup materials and tent?
Yes! Because we are an outdoor market, all vendors are required to bring their own setup materials, including a tent, tables, and display fixtures to create their booth space.
Where is the best place to park near the market?
We recommend using nearby commercial parking lots and garages. The closest options to our location at 411 Broadway include:
- Champion Parking (On-Site/Adjacent): Located right at 411-413 Broadway - the most convenient option for dropping off your setup materials.
- Wooster Parking Garage: Located at 349 Canal St or 6 Wooster St (just a 2 to 3-minute walk away).
- LAZ / Edison Parkfast: Located at 174 Centre St (a short 4-minute walk across Chinatown/Tribeca borders).
Tip: If you are bringing inventory and a tent for load-in, we recommend booking a space in advance via apps like SpotHero or ParkWhiz to secure a spot and get the best hourly rates.
